Professor Hanson explores the implications of the unrest in our cities today. He reminds us of the U.S. Constitution and the rights of all Americans. “There’s been a lot of news lately about the efforts of the Border Patrol and the Immigration Customs Enforcement, ICE. In many cities there is organized resistance. What’s really disturbing is we’re starting to see a new neo-Confederate successionist ideologies,” says Hanson. “What these elected officials are doing and what law enforcement is doing, at the municipal level, is no different than what caused the Civil War.” Hanson reminds those that are resisting federal law, “To stop what you’re doing and get back on the right side of history.”
